about

A trippy factoid: I didn't know what to say in the bridge yet, so I just mumbled into the mic. Then Sam and I decide we kinda liked it, but THEN, I walked into a store where a poster of wise-looking American Indian read, "All creation is connected to us and we to it." So, I shuffled those real words into the vocal. I wonder if it's close to any Indian language. I think, probably.

lyrics

Let Me Shine Again
In the distance my horizon
Limitless and open
Here before me an invitation
When I walk through the door
Don’t you let me sleep
Don’t you let me fail
Don’t you let me fade away, fade away

Let me feel, let me cry
Make my heart unfrozen
Let me shine, let me shine again
Let me laugh, let me fly
Let my heart be broken
Let me shine, let me shine again

Just around the bend another corner
And just beyond there my life waits
If I’m lucky I’ll remember
What I longed for in the first place
Don’t let me get cold
Don’t leave me alone
Don’t you let me lose my way

Let me feel, let me cry
Make my heart unfrozen
Let me shine, let me shine again
Let me laugh, let me fly
Let my words be spoken
Let me shine, let me shine again

Oo ato shju kani bah
Yu no wah awan
Yu mo
All creation
Yu wan en lov wen yu
Is connected to
Yu mon ah ma
Yu gos ah mai ow-amow
To us, and we to it
Yu gohtah aik lol mo den sah ayngu
Den sah ayngu

Don’t you let me sleep
Don’t you let me fade away, fade away

Let me feel, let me cry…
